COMMUNITY BASED INFRASTRUCTURE
Dedicated to enhancing municipal facilities, housing, and educational institutions through innovative delivery, the committee is focused on maximizing the value and benefits of these partnerships to address critical community needs. The committee focuses on issues such as sustainability and resilience improvement in buildings, workforce and attainable housing needs, and improving K-12 schools, higher education and municipal facilities.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
The committee is focused on ensuring diverse representation and opportunities for local businesses over the course of these long-term projects that not only enhance infrastructure but also have a lasting positive impact on the communities they serve. The committee identifies and develops best practices for contractor and equity participation in alternative delivery projects highlighting community needs and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

P3 EDUCATION
The foundation of AIAI’s mission, delivering education, information and resources for public officials. Additionally, the group raises P3 awareness through webinars and topic-specific industry conversation and workshops throughout the US.

ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE
Focused on advancing energy efficiency and sustainability through innovative public-private partnerships and alternative delivery. The committee’s mission is to effectively address public sector energy needs while promoting best practices in project delivery by examining modernization efforts and improvements, highlighting successful case studies and fostering knowledge sharing within industry.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS
At the Federal level, this committee is focused on building dialogue with pro-P3 stakeholders and advocating legislative and administrative proposals in support of P3s. The committee also addresses issues common to P3s at the state level in support of the model.

LAW & LEGISLATIVE
This committee focuses on shoring up seemingly stable P3 markets and introducing new possibilities to emerging markets, recommending best practices for legislative frameworks, responding to calls to action to establish viable P3 programs and monitoring changes in the legislative landscape.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
The committee spans all sectors focusing on the value provided by the contracted long-term operations and maintenance often included in public private partnership projects. Members discuss issues commonly faced during the operational period and identify emerging technologies that could benefit these projects in order to develop best practice resources for public sector owners.

RISK & PERFORMANCE
Focused on understanding and addressing the complexities of risks associated with alternative delivery models in infrastructure projects, the committee’s mission is to identify the stakeholders that are best positioned to effectively mitigate these risks while exploring the tools available to secure performance throughout the life of these projects.

TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE
This committee is dedicated to promoting alternative delivery as a tool for the public sector to drive innovation in the design, development, funding, and delivery of transportation assets by highlighting industry discussion targeted at federal, state, and local authorities to provide education and best practice materials and workshops to enhance the efficiency and effective delivery of transportation systems.

WATER INFRASTRUCTURE
Members address the unique challenges faced by water utilities, fostering a deeper understanding of alternative delivery models in the space. They serve as thought leaders in industry forums, sharing best practices and practical experiences related to alternative delivery on water projects. Through these efforts, the committee aims to develop a strong industry knowledge base and improve water infrastructure and service delivery.
