Bi-Partisan legislation would raise the ‘cap’ on transportation-related PABs to $20.8 billion.

AIAI and the Transportation Transformation Group (T2) today praised the introduction of legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives to expand the use of private activity bonds (PABs) to help finance P3s.

The bipartisan legislation, sponsored by Congressman Richard Hanna (R-NY-22) and Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX-30), would raise the ‘cap’ on transportation-related PABs to $20.8 billion, up from $15 billion.
